I did what I shouldn't have done. I worked on Don't Work Day to protest the impending "war." Sorry, but it was that or homelessness. If it's any consolation, I'm dead tired and my back's out.
There's nothing quite like driving home in a sand/snow storm. You coastal/island/greener pastures people should try it. It's like ... living in Afganistan! In fact, Nevada, is where the US military trained prior to going into Kabul. While I was flingin' t-shirts and sweats in the ol' warehouse today, I kept coming across tell-tale signs of 'Merikun Imperialism at work. I saw several cases with "Made in Vietnam" on them. Isn't there an embargo against Vietnam circa 1973? But the good news is, all the rest of the clothes were made in sweat shops in the Phillipines or Malaysia, the Moslem country that loves Yankies but hates Aussies. -- Mz M.
